Destination: France-The High-Speed French Connection

More tourists visit France than any other country in the world, so it's no coincidence that there are so many French travel websites. Searching Yahoo! alone will yield 70 sites dedicated to informing and selling French travel. Most are in English (or at least what the French consider English) and many will allow you to make reservations at hotels and cottages. Whether you want to spend your vacation sipping fine French wine or cruising the inland waterways, the Net will have you humming "La Marseillaise" while you surf.

"Gay Paree" will unfold on your desktop at the Paris User Guide. Although Paris is the most popular destination in France, for the real charm of France, you must go into the countryside and rent a Gîte in a quaint, rural ville. Or, perhaps check out the South and the Cannes Film Festival. For lots of nifty French links, take yourself to Provence-Beyond.

It's important not to forget to eat while in France. French cuisine is thought to be some of the best in the world and, whaddayaknow, there are websites about the best places to mange. After you're done scarfing down chateaubriand and pommes frites, you can work it off in the Alps at a French ski resort.
